Hosted by 25 Blue Alumni members it was attended by over 100 clients who were able to meet Blue Alumni consultants and network with other clients. Organiser Sue Thompson said, 'The success of the evening was once again down to the number of clients who made the effot to attend, the food and drink and the fantastic central London locations of the Getty Images gallery'.

Blue Alumni shortlisted for IBC awards

In December 2008 Blue Alumni were shortlisted for an Institute of Business Consulting award for their work with The RSPCA. At the awards dinner they were finally pipped to the post by KPMG in the category 'Most outstanding practice in generating increased client revenue/service provision'.

Richard Gravestock, RSPCA’s Head of Administration and Property said “Both consultants showed the highest level of professional expertise in all areas. They displayed a full range of technical skills and their in depth knowledge and experience was utilised to the full. What was particularly pleasing was the manner in which they quickly familiarised themselves with the Society and its methods of working, and integrated themselves into the staff hierarchy to work comfortably alongside new colleagues. They were able to quickly gain the confidence and trust of everyone with whom they had contact, and instruct and instill knowledge without taking away individual responsibility.

They kept the Project Manager fully briefed at all times and provided timely and full status reports when required. Changes to plan were seamlessly achieved and potential staff difficulties were considerately and smoothly dealt with.

If the RSPCA ever requires further work of a similar nature I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them for the task. Overall, I found their commitment and the quality of their work exemplary.”
